News — By sdiamond on January 26, 2012 at 12:23 pmLOS ANGELES (KABC) — Working all that overtime may actually be bad for your mental health.
A new study by British researchers shows logging more than 11-hour days can more than double your risk of depression.
That’s compared to employees who work just eight hours a day.
The findings suggest that the stress of a long work day is a contributing factor to depression.
Researchers also say long hours result in problems with relationships which may trigger depression.
